1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Schoolwear Express website and services. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
2. Ordering
2.1 Minimum Order
All orders must meet our minimum order value of £20 (excluding delivery). Orders below this amount cannot be processed.
2.2 Order Confirmation
When you place an order, you will receive an email confirmation. This confirmation is an acknowledgement that we have received your order, not acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse any order.
2.3 Pricing
All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already placed.
3. Embroidery Services
3.1 School Logos
Embroidery is available for schools we have on file. If your school's logo has not been digitised, a one-time setup fee of £4.99 will apply to your first order. This fee covers the digitisation of your school's logo for all future orders.
3.2 Embroidery Pricing
Our embroidery uses tiered pricing per school:
- 1-4 items: £5.99 per item
- 5-9 items: £4.99 per item
- 10-19 items: £3.99 per item
- 20+ items: £2.99 per item
3.3 Logo Accuracy
We take care to reproduce school logos accurately. However, slight variations in colour or detail may occur due to the nature of embroidery. If you are unsatisfied with the embroidery quality, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.
4. Delivery
4.1 Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout. Standard delivery typically takes 5-7 working days, while express delivery is 2-3 working days. During peak periods (July - September), delivery times may be longer.
4.2 Delivery Address
You are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. We cannot be held responsible for delays or failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses.
4.3 Risk of Loss
Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery. If a parcel shows as delivered but you have not received it, please contact us within 48 hours.
5. Returns & Refunds
5.1 Return Period
You may return items within 30 days of delivery, provided they are unworn, unwashed, and have all original tags attached.
5.2 Embroidered Items
Due to their personalised nature, embroidered items cannot be refunded. However, we will exchange embroidered items for a different size if they are unworn and returned within 30 days.
5.3 Faulty Items
If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact us immediately. We will arrange a free return and replacement or full refund.
5.4 Refund Processing
Refunds are processed within 3-5 working days of receiving the returned items. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method.

6. Product Information
6.1 Product Descriptions
We make every effort to display products accurately. However, colours may vary slightly due to monitor settings. If you're unsure about a colour, please contact us before ordering.
6.2 Sizing
Size guides are provided for all products. Please refer to these before ordering. If you're between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up for school uniform items.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and software, is the property of Schoolwear Express or our licensors. School logos remain the property of their respective schools. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Schoolwear Express shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the order in question.
9. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
